Attempted Suicide.

CONDITION NOT SERIOUS.
About half-past twelve last night it was discovered that a man named
James McMeekin, a visito to Stratford from Te Kuiti, where he is
engaged in farming, had cut his throat with a razor, and Dr. Steven was at once summoned. The man was at once removed to the hospital, hut his condition is reported to be not dangerous.
