A PETROL DRIVEN TRAIN. [Pub Peesh Association.! j Wellington, May 18. | The new petrol-electric motor railway carriage recently constructed at the Petone workshops, was given another trial rim on Saturday last. The carriage was taken from , Petonq,. ijo Kaitoke and then down to Wellington. In order to ascertain the locomotive power of tho contrivance, a heavy carriage was attached as a trailer,, and the experiment is reported to have proved successful.
