NEW PLYMOUTH WINTER SHOW.
Mr 0. J. Herrick, the well known apiarist, will not b© a competitor in the honey classes at the forthcoming show. Mr Herrick will, however, have a private exhibit, and has procured one of the latest American observation hives, in which the bees can clearly be seen at work. Tin's should prove very interesting to the general public. The Government exhibit will possibly be the best ever seen in the district, and should be viewed by everybody. To give some idea of the exetent of the exhibit, the space required is 1000 square feet. The entries for all other classes are expected to be very large this year, so that every available inch of space in the show buildings should be occupied. Exhibitors are reminded that entries for all classes close on Satin-day, 30th inst., at 9 p.m. Tickets for the raffle for the £SO gold nugegt are procurable from the secretary is authorised agents.
