Puhlip tindlgnation forced a re-trial of two ,4rooperg of the Cuirassiers at Potsdam, who were sentenced to six and three weeks' imprisonment respectively for breaking into the recruits' dormitory. The ! recruits were hounded out of their beds at tho points of swords, and one was forced to kneel naked on a table, and another to climb a cupboard and sing a hymn. Six recruits were" sent to hospital with sword wounds, one behg slashed across the chest. -The troopers were court-martialled, and received increased sentences of fifty pet cent.
