MATTHEWS, GAMPIN'S REPORT. Messrs Matthews, Gamlin and Co report a fair yarding of stock at their [nglewood yards on Wednesday last, Store cows showed an improvement on last week's prices, and practically everything yarded sold at the hammer at the following prices. Spring ealvers £4, 10s to £5 7s 6d, store cows £3 5s to £3 18s, forward do £4 5s to £5 2s 6d, fat do £7 2s, empty heifers £2 7s 6d to £3, weaner heifers 22s to 295, an exceptionally good line :J2s, mixed weaners 26s to 345, weaner steers 33s to 38s.
