At Stratford on Tuesday 12th inst, owing to the very rough weather, 1 had only a fair yarding, for which I had a very good enquiry, and most of thl, lines, changed hands during the daj? at prices quite satisfactory to the vendors, as follows:—Small mixed weaners 19s 6d to £1 6s, good weaner steers £1 19s to £2, others £1 4s to £1 14s, weaner heifers £1 10s, £1 7s Gd, £1 7s, £1 3s 6d, £1 Is, 19s, empty 18-month .heifers- £2 14s to £3, bulls £4 165,, rough and small 18 month steers £2 Bs. 6d to £3 Bs. in calf 18-month heifers £3 16s and £3 17s 6d, fat heifers £5 to £5 12s 6d, fat cows £5 17s to"£6 6s, forward cows £4 12s to £5 os, store cows £3 5s to £3 16s, small store cows £2 •5s to £3, aged cows £1 8s 6d to £2 3s 6d.

At Stony River yards on Wednesday tberefwas a full .'yarding-of all classes of cattle wjth a good attend-

MATTHEWS, GAMPIN'S REPORT. Messrs Matthews, Gamlin and Co report a fair yarding of stock at their [nglewood yards on Wednesday last, Store cows showed an improvement on last week's prices, and practically everything yarded sold at the hammer at the following prices. Spring ealvers £4, 10s to £5 7s 6d, store cows £3 5s to £3 18s, forward do £4 5s to £5 2s 6d, fat do £7 2s, empty heifers £2 7s 6d to £3, weaner heifers 22s to 295, an exceptionally good line :J2s, mixed weaners 26s to 345, weaner steers 33s to 38s.
