THREE STRATFORD CASES. The May sessions of the Supreme Court open at New Plymouth on Tuesday next. On the calendar appear the following three Straiford cases:— Mills and Sparrow (Mr Quilliam) against William Sandison and David Jamieson Bruce (Mr E. H. Jonas Masters (Mr Lawroy), an action originally commenced in the Magistrate's Court at Stratford and moved into the Supreme Court by the defendant; claim for £195 10s alleged to he purchase money received by the defendant to the use of plaintiff. Defendant countex*. claims on the first caxiso of action for £IBO 16s 3d, or alternatively he claims that ah account be taken of all moneys received by the plaintiff in respect to a certain contract; on a second cause of action £lßl 8s 7d in connection with the sale of a contracting plant; a third cause of action £2O money lent; and fourth, £24 paid to the New Zealand State Guaranteed Advances Office. ...

Claim for £7" 12s, being money alleged to havo been received by defendant as solicitor for the plaintiff and for, the use .of the plaintiff; or in the alternative £7 Bs, being the balance of an amount alleged to have been lost to the plaintifF by the defendant after allowing for credit due by plaintiff to the defendant, and £5 for damages! for alleged wrongful detention of certain documents. Defendant counter claims for £74 3s lid alleged to be due to him from Barron.
