ANGLO-FRENCH CONFERENCE. ; By Electric Telegraph—Copyright] [United Press Association.] (Received 9.55 a.m.) London, March 14. Mr Churchill informed Mr Douglas Hall that the forthcoming AngloFrench conference will discuss the joint naval commission’s powers in the New Hebrides.
A VICTORIAN VIEW. (Received 9.45 a.m.) Melbourne, May 15. The State Presbyterian Assembly passed a resolution in favor of ending the Condiminium in the Now Hebrides with a view to the purchase by Australia and Britain of the French interests in the group.
