BERNARD'S PICTURES. To-night's new programme of pictures to be presented at Bernard's include tlie much discussed Tango dance, which will be introduced in the drama,. "King of the Air." The picture is 6000 ft in length, and taken in natural colors. Marc Devernis, an amateur aviator, and the son of a rich banker, is in love with Lduise De Solange, who, without being in the slightest degree a bhie-stocking, has achieved considerable celebrity at the medical schools. The banker, Devernis, insists upon hh son breaking off his engagement to Louise, but the young man resolves to replace the girl's dowry with the prize of £12,000 offered by the Aviation Club. Meanwhile, Louise had obtained an engagement in a hospital. The race, to which reference has already been made, -takes place, and voung Devernis accomplishes wonders. When within a couple of hundred yards from home, however, his aeroplane suddenly capsizes, and a terrible accident results. The aeroplane is seen hurling through the air on its downward flight, and crushing young Devernis in its fall. Louise is terrified to find that the victim is her intended. His father is so deeply touched by the voung girl's devotion, that he withdraws his opposition to the marriage, and all ends happily. Special music will be played for the Tango dance.
