Tawhiti Handicap, of 150sovs., 6 furlongs.—Play Oft" 1, Clenfern 2, Wild Lupin 3. Scratched: Royal Simon, Zetes, Gerberga. Won by a head. Time, lmin 17sec. Railway Handicap, of lOOsovs., six furlongs .—-Avon Park 1, Kurapai 2, Conney 3. All started. Won by a nose. Time, lmin 18see. Ladies' Purse Handicap, of 75sovs., 1 mile and 110yds.—Patroness.!, Sweet Breeze 2, Darby Paul 3. Scratched :Te Whetu, Lady Ami. Tahora and Queensland. Won by one and a half lengths.
