At the Homo Week luncheoni Mr Pratten, president of the Chamber of Manufacturers, pointed out that in 1912 the raw material used in-Commonwealth factories was £9,000,00O L more than in 1911. The wage earners increased by 15,744, and the value of the' output increased by fifteen and a half millions.
