Mr Harry Lauder, while in Melbourne appearing at the Princess Theatre, was present one day in the House of Representatives. He occupied a seat in the members' reserved space. Mr Spence (X.S.W.) was at the time in the midst of an oration on a defence of trades-union-ism, and in condemnation, of the accumulation of wealth by the wrong people. Mr Fisher, who was ploting Mr Lauder around, presented a number of members to him. Meanwhile, Mr vSpenee had to carry on his address before unoccupied benches.
