ROOSEVELT AND LANDOR.

IBt Eleotkio Tbumjhafh—Copyright [Dnitkd Panes AaaoounoN.j (Received 8.40 a.m.) London, May 8. Mr Theodore Roosevelt will visit England. He has announced his intention to controvert statements in Mr A. Henry Savage Landor's discoveries in Brazil. Mr Landor, nterviewed in Paris, retorts: "Before Mr Roosevelt does so, I would advise him to penetrate Brazil afoot instead of by steam launch. It seems he copied some of the principal incidents of my voyage, and even had the same sickness and injuries. These things often hap*pen of big explorers who carefullyread other travellers' books!"
