ALLEGED LETTER THEFT.
LETTER SORTER iN TROUBLE. [Pes Press Association.] Wellington, May 4. At the Magistrate’s Court, Frederick David Plimmer, a letter sorter, was charged with stealing postal packets (letters), containing postal and bank notes to the value of £3. The accused was remanded for a week, bail being allowed.
