AMATEUR WIRELESSERS.
AIR THEIR COMPLAINTS. [Per Press Association J Wellington, Slay 4. There in Wellington some fortyfive amateur wireless telegraphists. They, with fellows elsewhere, feel sore that the Post and Telegraph Department will not permit them to conduct experiments effectively. It is stated that it is now many months since the Wellington Association of amateurs asked the Department for permission to experiment under reasonable conditions, but so far no definite reply has been received, even though other applications have been sent in.. In the meantime, amateurs if they wish to experiment at all, have to do so with inside aerials, which renders their plant little better than a toy. Any sign of outside aerials may lead to serious trouble, though .Rome amateurs have discovered means of using a wire outside their houses, can hardly be detected, but the point they make is that such subterfuges should not be forced upon them since their apparatus can be used without any interference with, the official plant.
