Brace, Labor M.P. for Glamorganshire, speaking at Newtredgear, foreshadowed the miners’ demand in 1915 for ninepence per day beyond the present minimum for all workers. They intend to demand an amended Minimum Wage Act. Ulster hud frightened Parliament, but the aristo cracy had set tho workers an examp'c which the combined forces of labour might find useful. DAY BAKING DEMANDED. Sydney, May 3. The bakers have delivered an ultimatum to the masters that day baking must be started within a week, or they will strike.
