Our correspondent writes; “At this jfixture is held the Manawatu Poultry jAssociation’s Annual Exhibition, for j which last year a small admission I charge was made as an experiment , j Plio Committee has wisely decided mot to repeat the charge, and visitors \to the Show lids year will be free • from this check on their wanderings j through the buildings. A largely extended schedule has been issued, and j there are good grounds for believing s that a heavy entry will result. The special prize list is very comprehensive, covering as it does several very j handsome cups, chief amongst which is the “Highden” Bowl valued at twenty guineas for the best bird in fancy poultry division (including 'ducks) North Island ch ainpion shins A-re spangled, pencilled and l.iack Hamburgs and black lUinorcas.
