BERNARD’S PICTURES. Last night’s new programme was of a very high standard. “The Black 13,” which is the star picture, is a new type of detective drama, retaining all the excitement of the mere chase of the law-breaker, and embodying as well all the best of high-class photography and sympathetic acting. It shows the most np-to-dato methods of detecting crime and tracking down the criminal, and also the highest pinnacle of criminological ingenuity. The picture must he seen to ho appreciated. “Niagara Falls” is one of the finest scenic pictures ever screened in Stratford. The ceaseless roar of the cataract which has impressed tourists from all over the world, can almost he heard as the screen proceeds, ft is a wonderful piece of photography, and presents an opportunity which should not he neglected. In addition, there are views from the Paris Zoo, “Paris Fashions,” “His Chorus Girl Wife” (a Lnhin drama) and two fine comedies. Those pictures, with the professional band under the baton of Gerald Van Hock, leaves little to he desired. The music supplied is wall worth lli« price of admission alone.
