QUESTION OF ADMINISTRATION.

Sir George Reid (Commonwealth High Commissioner), presided when Mr Charles Bright read a paper before the Society of Arts on the administration.; of Imperial telegraphs. Mr Bright advocates the management of Inter-Imperial telegraphs by a permanent central authority, free from political control, and composed of representatives of the Admiralty, War Office, Colonial Office, Post - Office, and Oversea Governments.
