The Government Meteorologist (Rev D.* O. Bates) telegraphed this afternoon as follows: The indications are for southerly moderate to strong winds and veering by east to north. Expect dull weather with much mist and fog in parts. Misty rain is to be expected, • and barometer unsteady.
