The Government- Meteorologist (Rev D. O. Bates) telegraphed this afternoon as follows*.— The indications are for :—Southeasterly moderate to strong winds preyaling. Expect dull weather with much mist and fog. Misty rain is to fbe expected. Rivers high. The barometer has a rising tendency.
