STRIKERS AT WAR.

The women and children believed to have been suffocated in the Empire mine, at Colorado, are known to be'.still alive. The strikers are firing,'neilig dynamite, as a considerable number.of noii-unionists are using the mine as a refuge. Conflicts with troops and «6h-strikers are still proceeding over a wide area. Further fatalities'*are'"'occurring and the strikers are thoroughly ( out of hand. The troops have been able to effect little sobex-elements into the community and are appealing for Presidential intervention. As reported, the conditions are equal to civil war.
