The death is announced by cable from Melbourne of the Rev. A A. Edgar, a prominent Methodist. The Countess De la Warr has been granted a decree nisi in divorce states a London cablegram. \ Mr H. K. Burns, headmaster it the Newmarket School, has been appointed inspector under the Auckland Education Braid. Th© Rev. Father Menard, S.M., has received notice of transfer from Opunake to Boulcott street. Wellington. The Rev. Father Harnatt has been appointed to rocceel him. The Emperor of Austria, says a Press Association cablegram, passed a disturbed night. The catarrh in the right lung is undiminshed, but his strength is maintained. The Bourse is depressed.
