The Entente.

ROYAL VISIT TO FRANCE. "VIVE LE ROl!’’ i [By Electric Telegraph—Copyright! [United Press Association.] Paris, April 22. The streets were crowded with people, shouting “Vive le Hoi!” Guns thundered from the fortifications, and there wore many other signs of welcome. The King and Queen greatly appreciated their reception. "UNSHAKEABLE SOLIDITY” OF THE ENTENTE. OFFICIAL RECEPTIONS. (Received 9 a.m.) Paris, April 22. French newspapers consider the King’s speech expressed in the clearest terms the tmshakeable solidity of the Entente, which shall resist all tests in the eternal future. No nation can take umbrage at its celebration of the Entente, as it threatens nobody. The King received M. Isvolsky, Russian Ambassador to France, and also a deputation from the Badtish community in Paris. His Majesty accepted from the British Colony at the Maison, Lapetete, a beautiful model of a racehorse, ridden by a jockey. The review at Vincennes was a brilliant success.

THE PRESENT RELATIONS. London. April 22. Reuter’s Paris correspondent telegraphs that with respect to the conversations between Sir Edward Grey and the French Foreign Minister, there .vas no question of any formal AngloFrench agreement. The relations were already well and firmly established on v basis of cordial and mutual understanding. Though there was no amplification of the existing relations, it was likely a clearer definition may be expected. Doubtless, the New Hebrides question will be discussed.
