A .ease of some interest arising out of the recent Sugar Trust case came on at'the Court of Appeal this morning before Justices Stout, Edwards, and Sim. Plaintiffs are Fairbairn, Wright and Co., Christchurch, and Levin and Co., Wellington are defendants, who were convicted in the Sugar Trust case of offences under sections 5 and 9 of the Commercial Trusts Act, 1910. Plaintiffs rely on acts done which are held to he offences under the said Act as causing them injury in their business.
