The Government Meteorologist (Rev D. 0. Bates) telegraphed this afternoon aa follows'. — The indications are for southerly moderate winds. Weather probably I cool ancl changeable. The night will probably be very cold. Barometer rising slowly, but falling after about 36 hours.
