TARANAKI WOOL, SKIN, HIDE AND TALLOW SALES. Mr Newton King’s Report. On Tuesday, April 7 th, 1 held my usual four-weekly sale of above produce, and submitted a catalogue comprising 59 bales and 124 sacks of wool, 1889 sheepskins, 578 hides, 14 casks, and 30 tins tallow, 115 calfskins, and the'usual assortment of hair, tads, etc. There was a good attendance of buyers, with excellent competition. Wool.—Mostly straggler lines, heavy in seed, now offering. Fleecej and lambs showed a quieter tone—no I doubt due to London advices stating crossbred market weaker, uith a do- ; dine of id in tops since the sales j dosed.
