[Per Press Association.] Wanganui, April 14. At the Wanganui Association’s tenuis tournament,' Nicholson and Webster beat Powdroll Bros., 6—l, .6 3. in the final for the men’s championship doubles. Nicholson and Miss Brewster beat Powdrell and Mrs Powdroll, I—6, 6—l, 6—l, in the final for the championship combined doubles. In the ladies’ handicap doubles final, Mesdames Marshall and Cooper heat Mrs A. Powdrell and Mrs Gordon. Mrs Marshall beat Mrs Williams. Powdrell Bros, beat Han ■is and Jones. In the semi-finals of the ladies’ championship singles, Miss Hugfies boat Miss Cooper and plays* off with Miss Brewster to-morrow, Dunedin, April 14. In the semi-finals of the champion singles, Jennings beat McDougall, 6—2, 6—2. Pearse and Brown meet to-morrow, but the final will not be decided till Saturday. In the final of the doubles, Brown Bros, met J.eunings and Pearse, the Browns retaining the-cup, 6—l, B—6, 5—6, 3—6, 6—3.
