Owing to officials’ anxiety concerning the attitude of British suffragettes during the King’s visit, Miss Christahel Paukhurst has given her assurance that the militants will not make any demonstration, and so mark their appreciation of the courtesy and hospitality shown her in France. ATTEMPT AT INCENDIARISM. (Received 9:5 a.m.) London, April 14. While Sir Edward Carson was visiting Bangor, suffragettes attempted to fire the railway station by lighting a candle in a 'wooden box filled witfi paraffin and cotton wool.
