An invention called an audiophone amplifier was tested on a steamer, and enabled those aboard to dance the Tango to the strains of music supplied from the laud by wireless. CHEAPER MESSAGES. Paris, April 11. The wireless telegraph system is being widely extended. The new telphone tariff allows of 2000 calls per year for £l2, while the plain telegraph rate is being reduced below a halfpenny a word for long messages. ITS USE FOR DIVORCE. Now York, April 11. Mrs Mari King, wife of a millionaire oil man of California, whilst voyaging to Honolulu, obtained a divorce from the Californian court by a wireless petition. She promptly remarried a fellow passenger.
