Directly the doctor and solicitor departed, the wife telephoned to her lover that she had splendid news—her monstrous husband was dead. The lover arrived and kissed the wife. When Petersen leaped out of the coffin, the wife fainted, and the lover fled. Petersen has been granted a divorce.
