[To Ini'! Editor Stratford Post.! Sir, —From conversations I have had with several burgesses there appears to be some confusion as to what constitutes a right to bo placed on the electors’ roll. You, sir. through your columns have fully explained the matter, but I think perhaps it would make the position clearer, if possible, to impress upon the burgesses that anyone twenty-one years of ago who ha? resided in the Dominion for twelve months and has lived in Stratford for three months, has a right to be enrolled. Those with a freehold or ratepayer’s right do not require much urging to get on. the roll; It is the burgess with a residential qualification w ho is diffident or doubtful about his or her right to be enrolled. The right to vote is something worth having, and I would advise all who are not sure whether they are on the roll or not, to interview the Town Clerk.— I am, etc., “ELECTOR.
