HIGH COMMISSIONER’S REPORT. [Per Press Association.! Wellington, April 7. Inquiries regarding the Chamber of Commerce complain that the High Commissioner’s market cable is unsatisfactory elicited the information that these messages are not solely for the convenience of commercial houses, bat for the benefit of prodducers, and provide the only indication producers get of the trend of the Home markets. Commercial houses had their own private advices, which they would continue to get despite any message sent by the High Commissioner, while the producers had no such aid, and were dependent entirely on tha official weekly cable.

Mr Xewton King has received the following advice re Loudon wool market : —“Merino market firm, crossbred market weaker. Tops have declined id since sales closed.”
