A\ the St. Paul inquiry, the evidence shofred it was the captain’s first 'command of a steamer.
, A native who was at the wheel heard the captain say he had lost his hearings. It is not considered any of the bod- £ jes will be recovered, as the spot is ■ infested with enormous ferocious sharks.
The inquiry has been adjourned.^
