AMUSEMENTS.

4) HIS MAJESTY'S PICTURES. The .elite audience appeared to be well satisfied with the programme screened on Saturday for the last time. For to-night the management have selected an attractive programme. The star film is the powerful Kalem drama, "The Fatal Legacy," which depicts the result of the lust for alcohol running through six generations. Love and Tragedy find a place in such a drama, and the happj finale comes as a fitting "contrast to the earlier scenes. This film should prove a great attraction. There are three other star dramas of mose than usual merit. "The Honor of the Force" is the tale of a crooked policeman who joined Big Tucker's gang of grafters and helped to break into his own captain's house to steal an incriminating paper. The captain interrupts them at work, and is stunned in the fight, but a ruse catches the thieves. "Playmates," is a fine motto dramagraph by the New Majestic Coy of players. "The Celestial Republic" is a Vita, drama. "Latest Pathe Topical Budget," all of which will suit the taste of the patrons. An exceptionally fine series of scenics, comics, and educational films help to make a very enjoyable evenings entertainment. A special feature of Bernard's delightful picture palace is the delightful music, which lias only arrived direct from America and played in its entirety by the professional orchestra.
