' The railway companies liave appointed a committee to meet a committee from the National Union of Railwaymen's Executive ft discuss employment conditions. Mr Thomas, Labor member in the House of Commons, speaking at a meeting at said ..this was tlie first definite recognition of the Union's power and responsibility, The companies' invitation will be accepted.
