ALTERATION TO LAWS.
[Peb Prjmw Association.] Dunedin, March 28
At the annual meeting of the Otago Rugby Union, held last night, the president, Mr H. Harris, said that je noticed the Canterbury Union was introducing alterations in the laws of the game. It seemed to him a great )ity that one union should take on itself alterations in the laws. Tt meant i great deal of trouble was going to be caused if the different unions were going to make laws of their own, and it would be to the detriment of the unions when teams met outside players. He hoped the English Union would make a move this year, and introduc ealterations that would improve play.
