PROTEST FROM HAWERA
[Per Prwis Association.] ' ■ Hawera, March 28
The Chamber of Commerce last night passed a resolution protesting against the action of the Government in departing from the route of the Opunake railway unanimously recommended By 1 the Special Commission. The Chamber pointed out that the route decided upon by the Government would deprive the railway of a considerable portion of revenue.
