“IGNORAMUS” AGAIN.

fTo Thf Editor Stratford Post. !

Sir, —With further reference to the Electric Light question, the point I | wish to make clear to my fellow rato- | payers is this. As pointed out an your lender of 25th inst., the fvosition apparently bristles with difficulties. It will apparently be hard enough to straighten matters between the parties even under the Deed of Concesuoo, and therefore why should largesses increase these difficulties by signing a petition praying that the Company be, granted a license over the Borough? The granting of a liceire would undoubtedly make matters a great deal more complicated. In your leader of 25th inst., you state, inter alia, that: “If the Company is right in its contention the issue or non-issue of a license does not matter one jot, except that it would enable the Company to extend its buuness into the County.” T would like to point out that a license over 'the Borough is not necessary to etnble the Company to extend its oudness into the County. The Minister has already stated his willingness to grant a license over the County, and this license will give the Company all the power it requires to extend i f s business in that direction Under ail

the circumstances, it is my opinion that the burgesses should not add to the complications apparent in this question by signing a petition in favor of granting a license over the Borough. 1 am, etc,

IGNORAMUS,
