RAILWAYMEN'S DEMANDS.
THE “OPPOSITION” POLICY.

■Mr Thomas (secretary to the Union) announced that 40,000 men had notified the railway companies that they, are ceasing work in November unless conditions are bettered. If he followed the Opposition policy, he would advise those men to provide themselves with arms and ammunition.
