SPECULATION IN COAL.
BIG N.S.W. DEAL. By Fi.egthic Telegraph—Copyright [United Press Association.] (Received 9.45 a.m.) Sydney, March 25. It is reported that preparations are being made for opening up a large new colliery at Cessnock. The name of the party financing the scheme has not been divulged, but it is believed to be a wealthy speculator who negotiated for the purchase of the same land five years ago. It will he the largest colliery in the Southern Hemisbhere.
