A DANGEROUS PRACTICE.

A seven-roomed house at Temuka, occupied by Hugh Hoare, was, with most of its contents, burned on Sunday night. The fire was started by Mrs Hoare exploding a kerosene lamp by blowing down the chimney to extinguish the flame.
