ROOSEVELT EXPEDITION.
THE TREACHEROUS RAPIDS. [By Electric Telegraph—Copyright] [United Press Association.] (Received Noon.) New York, March 23. Anthony Filia, a member of the Roosevelt exploration expedition, reports that they lost everything in the rapids of a tributary of the Amazon, but the party was safe. Tho latest news was that the party had been engaged around Santarem.
