CHURCH AND THE CHILO.
A CHURCH CONFERENCE. [By Electbio Telegraph—Copybight) I United Press Association.] (Received 10.00 a.m.) London, March 11. The Free Churches Council at Norwich, passed a resolution favoring a world conference to secure closer union of free churches; also, in insisting on more rigid Sunday observance, and condemning the War Office for the encouragement of Sunday rifle practice. In a discussion on the relation of the Churck to the child, several speakers declared that the results of Protestant methods in dealing with the religious training of the young compared unfavorably with the Roman Catholic.
