The newspaper Sun states that, owing to an accident, FogwelTs match against Hannan for the sculling championship of New Zealand is off. Fogwell lias decided to hand over the championship to Hannan. LAWN TEN MIS. NEW PLYMOUTH v. STRATFORD. The match, between New Plymouth and Stratford, which was to have been played on the Stratford courts to-morrow, will not eventuate, as the Stratford team cannot fill the engagement for that day. The match will probably be played next week. SWIMMING. HANDICAP CHAMPION CUP. The 440yds distance of the Handicap Champion Cup will bo swum this evening.
