LOST IN A SNOWSTORM.

New York, March 7
The steamer Charlemagne Tower sank in tho Atlantic. The captain and crew of 17 were adrift in an open over crowded boat, bmt a heavy sea prevented them landing, and they drifted off again, and were lost sight of in a snowstorm. Revenue cutters are searching. RESCUED AT LAST. (Received 9.10 a.m.) New York, March 8. The crew of the Charlemagne Tower were rescued by a revenue cutter. Several were almost dead from exhaustion.
