The autumn meeting of the Dannc virke Racing Club opened to-day ii fine weather. There was a large at tendance and the course was in splendid order. The new grandstand wat declared open by the President, M: G. Hunter. Results:— Maiden.—Montano 1, Mystified 2. New York 3. Scratched: Holywell Improve, Miss Lupin, Contra, Nga rua, Hapingo, Janitor, Waifnarino Won by a neck. Time, 56sec. Tahorite Hack.-—Firing Line 1 Merry Jack 2, Combustion 3. Scrat died: Alecto, Armature, Otakura Silver Jingle. Won by a length. Nursery Handicap.—Tavistock 1, In digo 2, La Favourita 3. Scraohed Roumania, Marceline, Carloman, Lady like. Won by a neck. Time, 5-'. 2-ssec.
