There was a great croud and line weather lor the V.R.C. Autumn Meeting. Lord and Lady Denman, the State Governor, and Admiral Patoy were amongst those present. Radnor established a record for the St. Leger. lownit's time in the Newmarket Handicap has only been beaten once in the history of the race. Wallalo is now favorite 'or the Australian Cup. Hurdles—Darrawa 1, The Vet 2, Light Ballast 3. Nine others started. Won by half a length, two lengths between the next horse, ~ime, 3min oO^sec. St. Leger—Radnor 1, Andelosia 2, Monodia 3. Won pulling up by eight lengths, the same between second and third. Time 3min 2Jsec. Newmarket Handicap of 3000 sovs, six furlongs.—Jownit 1, Cider 2, Aleconner 3. Scratched: Caimairie. Won by a length, a neck between the next two. Time, lrnin 13-Jsec Sires' Produce Stakes—Woorak 1, Auclwesine 2, Kidelio 3. Ten strted.
