The Association Football League (First Division) matches resulted as follows:—Oldham Athletic drew with Liverpool, 2—2; Bradford City beat Sunderland, 1—0; Bolton Wanderers drew with Middlesborough, 1—I; Blackburn Rovers drew with Tottenham Hotspur, I—l ; Manchester United drew with Newcastle, 2—2; Aston Villa beat Chelsea, 3—o; Preston United beat Barnsley, 4 —3 ; Everton United beat Manchester City, I—o ; West Bromwich Albion beat Derby County, 2—l ; Sheffield Wednesday beat Sheffield United, 2—l. In the Association match between Scotland and Wales there was no score. In the Rugby match Ireland v. Scotland the score was Ireland 0 points, Scotland nil.

BOWLING.

THE AUCKLAND TOURNEY

The final was played between Lansford's rink, West End, and Fookes' rink (Ponsonby), the former winning by 19 points to 10. iVISIT FROM AUCKLAND. The Auckland Club is sending four rinks on tour, and matches will bo played at Wanganui, Hawera, Stratford, and New Plymouth. Mr Porritt, hon. secretary of the local Club, to-day received a wire accepting the invitation to play at Stratford on Thursday, when games will be played in the morning and afternoon. The committee meet this evening to arrange a plan of entertainment for the visitors.

Swimming at the sports in thee Municipal Baths on Saturday, Malcolm Champion lowered his 200yds record by I?, sec, his actual time being 2min 36 3-ssec. fn the 100yds race his time was 58 l-Ssec, his previous best being oOsec.

A team of Stratford ladies played at [nglewood on Saturday, the visiting team winning by 22 points. The following are the scores, Stratford being mentioned first in each case:— Doubles. Mrs Curtis and Miss King 20, v. Mrs Hamerton and Mrs Hobbs 28. Miss Dingle and Mrs Dingle 28, t. Mrs Roberts and Mrs Williams 12. Singles.
