ACCIDENTS & FATALITIES.
[Pee Press Association.] Timaru, February 25. Howifct, a farmer, of Cricklewood, was pinned clown by his car capsizing on him a mile out of town on the way home. He was recently vaccinated preparatory to a trip to England, and the arm was so painful he could only steer with one hand. The car seems to have mastered him and ran into a big stone on the side of the' 1 road, smashed in front, and turned over. Ho was removed to the hospital suffering from concussion of the brain. Hamilton, February 25. William Shannon, aged 19, a native of Helensville, was crushed between two trucks at Frankton station this afternoon. Ho died a few minutes later. He was engaged coupling two trucks, when the engine-driver shunted backwards, and he was severely crushed. William R. Dundas,, employed at the Hamilton Gasworks, was kicked by a horse this morning, and died in the hospital this afternoon.
