m SLLSNCSS AND CHICAGO, RUNS PROHIBITION CANDIDATES [By Electric Telegraph—-Copyright] [United Press Association.! (Received 10.55 a.m.) New York, February 25. As a result flf the recent adoption of women's suffrage in Illinois, the women are running total prohibition candidates in the various cities throughout the State. Tho saloon keepers are surprised, as they did not expect the women's opposition. Seven women are nominated for the Chicago Aldermanic contests.
